7 July Local Government Pay Action Bulletin - Strike 16/17 July Download Bulletin
Please note that the Pickets will be concentrating on the Main Hub Workplaces - your support at these during the two days will be appreciated.
Above all we want as many people to support this action as possible - unless your manager has applied for and had an exemption agreed -
all workers with NJC agreed pay and conditions in Local Government, Fire and Rescue etc should be withdrawing their labour on these two days.
We need YOU and all your workmates to join the action. This will send a clear message to your employers that they must improve their offer and show you
the respect you deserve.

25 July Activists: Branch Committee Meeting 9.30am Heathfield
Statement from Branch
The Industrial Action Committee have endorsed the recommendation for strike action.
There will be a two day strike July 16 and July 17 in the first instance. We will be sending out information about the proposed
action early next week. In the meantime if anyone wishes to volunteer for picket line duties, distribute leaflets and/or communicate
with service user groups please contact the UNISON office on 01435 865215.
In order to persuade the employers to reopen negotiations and increase their offer we need to show them that we are united.
